Group Classes
Puppy Preschool Social
Proper socialization is critical to your puppy's behavioral development! The Puppy Preschool Social is a great way to safely introduce your puppy to other dogs, people, sights, and sounds under the supervision of an experienced puppy trainer. Owners will have the opportunity to ask all of your burning puppy questions.
Puppies must be between 8 - 20 weeks and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. We agree with the American Society of Veterinary Behavior (ASVAB) position statement on puppy socialization and do not require puppies to be fully vaccinated before attending.
**Dogtopia Clients Special - For a limited time, Dogtopia puppies (5 months and younger) can join the puppy social at no cost when they attend daycare on the afternoon of a scheduled social.

Basic Manners
This 7 week class is suitable for dogs and puppies of all ages who have not had previous training or who need to refresh their skills. We will focus on building foundation behaviors necessary for a well mannered dog and introduce exercises to encourage self control and confidence. Skills taught will include name response, sit, down, come, off, stay, polite greetings and loose leash walking. The first class is an orientation without your dog.

Great Outdoors
This 7 week advanced class is suitable for graduates of the Basic Manners class, day training, and private training packages. Classes meet at a different outdoor location each week to reinforce and build on your dog's manners in the "real" world. Focus is on coping with distractions and polite behaviors in public places.
Prerequisite: Basic Manners class or individual training with The Enlightened Dog.

Individual Training
Day Training
Day Training is available exclusively for customers of Dogtopia of Dulles/Chantilly. Enjoy the convience of adding training to your dog's normal daycare schedule. This customized 10-day program includes 8 sessions of one hour individual instruction for your dog and 2 private lessons with you. You will recieve daily updates on your dog's progress and written handouts to help you practice at home. Focus is on basic manners and/or specific behavior concerns.
Cost: $700.00 (cost of daycare is not included)
Training Tune-up
Training Tune-Ups are available for customers of Dogtopia who have already completed a group class or training program. Tune-ups are ideal for dogs who need a refresher or want to improve current skills. Your dog will receive a one hour individual training session while they are playing at Dogtopia. Daily written reports will keep you informed of your dog’s progress.
Cost: $85.00 per session or $400.00 for 5 sessions.
Training Field Trips
Sign your dog up for a training field trip. Your dog will practice important social behaviors while exploring new environments. One hour training sessions will focus on walking politely on leash, staying calm around people and other dogs, socialization and maintaining good manners around distractions. Your dog will be picked up and returned directly to your home for optimal convenience. Initial consultation ($195.00) required for new clients.
Cost: 5 sessions for $425 (4 sessions and 1 lesson) 10 sessions for $750 (8 sessions and 2 lessons)

Vet Visit Training (must be a current training client)
Does your dog struggle with vet visits? Many dogs have symptoms of anxiety and/or aggression related to trips to the vet or groomer. This can cause a great deal of stress for your dog, yourself, and veterinary staff.
Vet visit training can help your dog learn to cope with and relax during routine visits. I will assist, support, and coach your dog through the entire process including time to decompress after. *Prior approval from the veterinarian or groomer is required.
Cost: $85.00 per up to an hour session $30.00 for each additional 30 minute segment

Video Consulations
Can't meet in person, but still need help with your dog? Private video consultations can be done using a variety of platforms on your smartphone, laptop, or tablet. You will be able to watch demonstrations in real time, practice with your own dog, and recieve personalized coaching from any location and at a time that is convenient for you!
Cost: $95.00 per hour session

Private Lessons
Private lessons provide a tailored training program for your dog at a time that is best for you. Whether you want to brush up on basic manners or work on a specific behavior, private training can work for you. Private lessons are also a good alternative for dogs who may not do well in a group setting or who need help with challenging behaviors such as anxiety, fearfulness or aggression.
